Account Opening Identification Requirements

To open a business checking, savings, NOW, and/or Certificate of Deposit account, you are required to present two pieces of identification.  One form must be a primary identification and the other may be either primary or secondary identification. 

Primary Identification:

• Valid Driver's License
• State Identification Card
• Valid Passport
• Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)
• Disabled or elderly individuals can provide either a Social Security card or Medicare or Medicaid card and additional identification that indicate the name and address of the individual.

Secondary Identification:

• Armed Forces ID Card
• Current Utility Bill
• Student ID with signature
• Social Security Card
• Employee ID with picture and signature
• Voter's Registration Card
• Birth Certificate or Marriage Certificate
• A current credit report or report from Chex Systems

What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.
